Audition for Voices
Voices of Ascension is always interested in seeking out talented professional choral singers. We are interested in applicants who are highly skilled choral singers from any background, and applicants from traditionally underrepresented backgrounds are especially encouraged to apply (see our full statement on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion here).
If you would like to audition for Voices of Ascension, please submit the Google form available at the link below, which will enable you to upload your clips directly to us. The form requires a Google account, so if you do not have one (or wish to set one up), feel free to instead email wchinn@voicesofascension.org with your resume, address and phone number, and work samples (links, file attachments, or your choice of file-sending service are all fine).
In addition to a resume, we would like to hear two or more recordings. Please consider submitting recordings in different styles that demonstrate your flexibility and musicianship. Please submit live recordings, not edited clips, and we are more than happy to hear a cappella recordings made with a smartphone (audio or video). You may submit youtube or other links, including solo performances with ensemble, provided that they are live recordings.
If we are interested in scheduling a live audition, we will contact you. Please note that we hold auditions on a rolling basis as time is available, so if you don’t hear from us for a while, it does not mean that you are not still under consideration.
